4th of July Weekend

Thomas, Jared's roommate from OSU came to visit and to see Dallas.

For the 4th of July we went to the lake with Jared's family. We celebrated Brady's birthday. Happy Birthday Brady!!We also went to see Great-Grandma. It was the first time she had seen Dallas.

3 Months

Dallas is 3 months old. He weighs 14 lbs. 1/2 oz. and is 25 inches long.

A week with 'the coyotes'

On June 21st James, Lydia and Evelyn came to Kansas. Dallas and I were able to stay at Grandma and Grandpa's with the kids while Grandma and Grandpa were cutting wheat. We had so much fun. We did a little bit of everything. We played different games like chess, dream phone and scrabble. The kids also had fun doing scavenger hunts, playing on the computer and DS, watching movies, swimming and playing outside. They even got a chance to ride on the combine.

James got a turn too! Dallas loved having the kids around. They would talk to him and he would listen and smile so big! James, Lydia and Evelyn were a big help all week.

Popsicles were the favorite snack!

The kids also enjoyed drawing and coloring.Three little fish!

Lydia and Evelyn had fun playing dress up and posing for the camera while James played on his DS and Dallas took a nap.

At the end of the week, Teresa and Mark came to get the kids. What a great week we had together. I can't wait until they come back to visit!

Harvest

Harvest began June 17th and ended on the 26th. It seemed to go very smooth with few break downs. I usually drive the combine during harvest but this year was different since I needed to take care of Dallas. Dallas and I did our best to help. We were able to get together some meals and take out to the field and we even went to town to get a part for the tractor that was pulling the blue cart.

In the evenings when it wasn't so hot and when the wind wasn't blowing Dallas and I would go out to the field. As you can see this is what can happen to you after a long hard day of work during harvest!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day Jared!

This was Jared first Father's Day. Dallas gave Jared his present early so he could wear it to Matt's wedding. He got a long sleeve blue Cinch shirt (with square buttons). For some reason I never did get a picture of the shirt so the next time he wears it I will have to get one.

On the actual day of Father's Day Jared was cutting wheat but he did enjoy dinner in our red pickup next to Dallas (who was sleeping).

Happy Birthday Jared

Jared's birthday was June 15th. We went over to Marquette for a delicious meal and some pie.

Jared got a grill cover for his birthday!
